Woodland wildlife course Knights Hill Wood

On Tuesday 11th September 2018 Nature Vibezzz organised a free woodland wildlife course in Knights Hill Wood. The course was run by Field Study Council tutor Rachael.

The training started with how to use binoculars and an intro to bird identification.

Other activities included doing a woodlice survey which involved collecting, counting and painting them and returning to the same area to collect woodlice again and finding how many was painted from the earlier collection.

The participants also learnt about animal tracks, mammals, UK reptiles and amphibians species, trees and much more.

Free Nature Vibezzz family Saturday afternoon nature activities in Knights Hill Wood and Tivoli Park will re-start soon, please come along and join in the fun.
